#62: Mompreneur Lessons from the Mafia

Inspiration from this Episode:

“It’s easy to look at your family and get inspired to know why you’re doing what you’re doing.”

“They are the key support, foundation and drive for a lot of what we do.”

“They are learning what it’s like to be resilient.”

062 | The Mompreneur Experience: Mafia Lessons for Mompreneurs

On today’s show, we are switching things up a bit and talking about something a little bit different—the Mafia! Now, I want to preface this episode by saying that I do not condone or agree with doing anything illegal, but I do think there are some parallels we can see with the Mafia. One big thing I don’t think anyone can dispute is that the Mafia typically always puts their family first.

As mompreneurs, it can be an important lesson to take away that we must always remember to keep our family as the foundation for all the things we do with our business. Our families are often our first supporters as well as often helping us in the early stages of our business.

What You’ll Learn in Today’s Episode:

  • How the Mafia tends to put family first.
  • Keeping your family as the foundation.
  • Teaching your kids resilience.
  • Our earliest testimonials come from family.
