On today’s show, we meet Alison Mountford who has been a professional chef for over 15 years and has had multiple successful businesses. She is the Founder and CEO of Ends+Stems, a meal planning service designed to reduce household food waste and stop the effects of climate change. 

Before building Ends+Stems, Alison founded Square Meals in 2005, one of San Francisco’s first prepared meal delivery companies. After 10 successful years working on Square Meals, Alison took a big leap and sold the company. During the following year, she rediscovered her creativity and found a gap in the market where there was a need for a meal planning idea app.
